The Water in your Entire Home
One of the first things to understand about the water that enters your home is that it is pre-treated with chemicals such as chlorine to kill potential pathogens.
Sadly, these chemicals do not magically disappear. Instead, the water you’re using to drink, bathe in, clean or wash your veggies with, make coffee with, contains chlorine and other chemicals as organics bond to chlorine forming Trihalomethanes. Water entering your home may also be hard water (High in Calcium and Magnesium) or water microbiologically unsafe.
